As Ghana’s Covid-19 case load continues to spike, it has become evident that the inadequate hospital bedding capacity for Covid-19 cases, will strain the quality of patient care and management. 

It is for this reason that the Ghana COVID-19 Private Sector Fund, with your support, seeks to construct a 100-bed Infectious Disease Isolation and Treatment Facility at the Ga-East Municipal Hospital, which serves as Ghana’s main COVID-19 Treatment center. 

 

Locating the facility within the existing hospital will enable more patients benefit from the existing human resource expertise in COVID-19 Management at the Ga-East Hospital.

The project is expected to commence on the 14th of April 2020 and be completed not later than the 19th of May 2020. The project is to be funded from cash and in-kind donations from individuals and corporate bodies through the Ghana COVID-19 Private Sector Fund.
